The recent Cambodia Architect and Decor 2016 event, the first international exhibition of its kind to take place in Cambodia, was hailed a great success by the organizers.
The exhibition, for which Dot Property Group was a media partner, proved to be an excellent networking and industry platform for education, for the exchange and sharing of market knowledge, technology and innovation, as well as to serve the growing demand of building materials, architectural, interior design, furniture and decoration for the Cambodian market.
The exhibition was co-organized by ICVeX, a subsidiary of Thailand’s Index Creative Village and the world’s seventh-ranked for creative event marketing, in collaboration with Cambodian Society of Architect (CSA) whose network included 3,000 graduated and professional architects, along with support from Board of Architects (B.A.C.) and Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC).
The event showcased more than 100 brands and companies from 10 countries including Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Korea, Germany, Italy, India and USA. Exhibits included products, technologies, innovation and solution ranging from construction and building materials to architectural, interior design, furniture and decor.
The official opening ceremony presided by H.E. Phuong Sophean, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, Secretary General of Cambodia Board of Architects was well attended by Cambodia’s top media and VIPs.
The event also featured a three-day seminar, which achieved its objective in sharing and exchanging knowledge among professionals in the building and construction industry. More than 300 delegates attended and experienced the in-depth presentation and panel discussions.
The exhibition welcomed 3,543 visitors by the time doors were closed, divided as 98 percent local visitors (from Cambodia) and 2 percent international visitors from nine countries.
