Phuket’s prestigious Twin Palms hospitality firm has partnered with MontAzure to launch an exclusive mixed-use community in Kamala – on what is one of the last direct beach front sites on the west coast of the island.
The first phase of Twinpalms Residences MontAzure will feature 75 luxury condominiums, with 100 metres of absolute beach frontage, located between Millionaire’s Mile and the Amanpuri headland. It will be operated and managed by Twinpalms when completed towards the end of 2017.
The masterplan for the 454-rai site, valued at THB 15 billion, will include a branded five-star hotel, four beach clubs for public and private use and 13 private hillside estate villas – as well as a 200-rai nature reserve.
“We are genuinely excited to enter into this agreement,” said MontAzure Managing Director Roland Bleszynski. “
“We are not looking to develop a mass-market product,” he added.
Prices for one of the planned 56 one-bedroom condominiums will start from THB 8 million while two-bedroom units, of which there will be 19, are priced up to THB 93 million. Three-bedroom units will also be available by merging units depending on buyers’ requirements.
Prices for one of the villas will range between US$ 8 million and US$ 15 million, and each will occupy some of the largest villa land plots anywhere on the island.
The multi award-winning Twinpalms resort operates in Surin, and is the brand behind the Catch and Bimi Beach Club brands, and the Palm Seafood Restaurant success stories. Its hospitality and entertainment concepts set new benchmarks for Phuket and are magnets for A-List international celebrities.
“There were simply too many synergies to ignore,” said Twinpalms Founder and Managing Director Carl Langenskiold.
“We were looking for growth opportunities and MontAzure offered a perfect solution for us to extend our brand and management capabilities into a project designed by the same designer as ours. So it was a strong fit.”
Twinpalms Residences MontAzure was designed by Martin Palleros, of Tierra Design, who also provided the masterplan for the entire MontAzure project. The sales gallery will open in December and will feature a Twinpalms restaurant right on the pristine pine-fringed beach in North Kamala as a part of the building.
Buyers can use the units themselves or will be invited to join a management pool and benefit from a well-managed hospitality operation with attractive yields and owner usage of up to 45 nights per year.
