Visitors to Thailand-Property.com – Thailand’s largest English language property website – were searching for rental bargains in Bangkok last week, and they weren’t disappointed.
The three most-viewed Bangkok property listings for rent were all in convenient locations and all priced below THB 17,000 per month, proving that Bangkok isn’t an expensive place to rent property in a good location.
Top of the list of most-viewed Bangkok properties to rent (pictured above) – and the cheapest of the top three at a mere THB 10,000 per month – was a brand new one-bedroom condominium in Ratchathewi, close to Makasan and the mass-transit airport rail link. The unit comes fully-furnished and enjoys what the agency describes as amazing unblocked views overlooking the city. Most importantly, it said, is that it represents value for money, and is within a 10-minute walk to the Central Plaza Rama 9 Shopping Mall.
The second most-viewed listing for properties to rent in Bangkok last week (above) was a studio condo in the very central and popular Asoke part of the city – with a price tag of THB 17,000 per month. Asoke is one of many central business districts in Bangkok, is popular with expatriates and is mixed with high-end serviced apartments and condominiums, hotels and some great restaurants. The condo is close to the Terminal 21 shopping complex and also enjoys excellent transport options via the MRT, BTS and expressway access.
The third most-viewed property for rent in Bangkok on Thailand-Property.com last week (above) was a one-bedroom unit in On Nut with a THB 16,000 per month price. The unit, within The Link development, enjoys a superb location right next to the mass-transit BTS skytrain system at On Nut. The agency describes this property as being the perfect option for commuters, or people looking to enjoy Sukhumvit’s attractions just a few stops along the skytrain. Once overlooked by the expatriate community, On Nut is fast becoming a new destination for property buyers, renters and investors from beyond Thailand.
