Siam Sindhorn Co, owned by Crown Property Bureau (CPB) announced that it will be spending at least two billion baht on projects in and around Bangkok, with plans of developing a new condo on Lang Suan Road as well as renovating the Wireless Road Sindhorn Building. This will be the largest investment CPB has made in a single year as well as its first time developing a residential project on its own.
The new condo development will be funded by half of the total investment and will go through two phases. The first phase will include no more than 200 units in a 35-story building and should be completed by mid-next year. While the condo will be taking over land space that’s currently in use as residential space, the CPB will give former tenants at its Lang Suan Road plots the right to book a unit and transfer it to others.
The Sindhorn building on Wireless Road has been used as a bustling office building for two decades now and is need of a facelift… one that will cost another one-billion baht and will include placing a new building out front. To be called GlassHouse, it will be a two-story plaza and restaurant covering 800 square metres.
