COVID-19 has hit Phuket hard with tourism, the island’s primary economic driver, halted. Serene Condominium recently gave back to its local community of Surin Beach to assist families during a trying time. This area would normally be busy with tourists but is now quiet.
The developer delivered food to local families who have been impacted by the current situation. Fredrik Young Carlsson, Serene Condominium Managing Director and Shareholder; Oleg Golubev, Sales Director and Shareholder; and the team from Serene Condominium dropped off the supplies in person while abiding by all local regulations.
Everyone at Serene Condominium has a deep connection to its local community and these efforts allowed the company to give back in a time of need.
Phuket has reported 126 cases of coronavirus and the island is currently not allowing people to leave or enter the province. The order will continue until April 30.
