Thailand’s leading residential developer is opening its doors in Singapore.
One of Thailand’s leading developers, Sansiri, has headed to Singapore. With a strong reputation on home turf, the developer already has a following in Singapore. Their strong emphasis on good quality developments has been a winning formula to their success. 98 Wireless being one of them. Situated in the Lumpini area of Bangkok nearby to Phloen Chit BTS station, the scheme achieved records sales.
Honing in on prime locations across the Thai metropolis, Sansiri recently announced a joint venture with Group Holdings Public Company. This five-year partnership agreement will develop 25 different condominiums along the BTS mass transit rail lines in Bangkok. Fifty percent of their eight current projects sold out during the pre-sale period including THE LINE Sukhumvit 71 (400 metres from BTS Skytrain Phra Khanong Station), and THE LINE Jatujak-Mochit that is due to be completed this year.
Sansiri has received increasing interest from Singaporean investors. So in order to keep with demand, the developer has opened its inaugural international office. Situated at the Ocean Financial Centre, this new office is a strategic move on part of Sansiri and will enable them to focus on this growing market. Singaporean investors are lured by the value for money if compared to Singapore property, especially at a time where there are uncertainties for their local market.
Singapore is big business for Sansiri. The developer attended the recent Dot Property International Show at the ION Orchard Road which proved to be a rewarding move for the firm. Not only did they generate a lot of interest in their schemes, but they also sold units. This new office will create a presence for the Thai based developer. It will be used to assist in the anticipation of launching nine new condominiums in Thailand this year alone and will also be used to help owners manage their properties remotely.
