Thailand’s Ministry of Social Development and Human Security is pushing for the revival of the Din Daeng flats in Bangkok, saying residents will not be affected.
Minister of Social Development and Human Security, Police General Adul Saengsingkaeo met leaders of the Din Daeng Flats residents yesterday to discuss the renovation project.
The Minister said the project would be completed in 8 years without causing trouble to the residents. He also confirmed the flats would not be renovated for commercial purposes.
He added the Council of Engineers would check the structures of the buildings and he would consider the residents’ request for compensation.
