Phuket Takes Step to Remain Top Luxury Market in Thailand

Bang Tao Bay in Phuket just added 15 more reasons for luxury property seekers to consider investing in Thailand’s largest island.  Minor Group, a major Thai developer just announced it will invest five billion baht to create 15 luxury oceanfront villas set within the Anantara Phuket Layan Resort & Spa.

The development was designed by Jaya Ibrahim, a world-renowned talent who has also created spaces such as the Aman at Summer Palace Beijing and the The Legian Bali.

The development will have a more costly price point than anything developed in Phuket in the last several years. Each unit will consist of four-to-eight bedroom villas and will cost an estimated 300 million baht each.

Other luxury properties on the island are also in the process of completion and include the Rosewood Phuket, and two Sansiri properties including Laguna Shores project and Baan Mai Khao.

These luxury properties are easily positioning Phuket to remain the top luxury property market in Thailand; a market that surpasses nearby beach resorts including Bali.
