With the growing popularity of property purchases and investments in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai, last week saw users of Thailand’s number one English language property portal – Thailand-Property.com – focusing their attentions on property purchases in the north.
We reported last week that Chiang Mai was ranked second during September in terms of people searching for property in six popular property locations throughout Thailand, and it was raked second only behing Bangkok and ahead of more-established property resort destinations including Pattaya, Hua Hin, Samui and Phuket.
Top of the list (pictured below) of the most-viewed Chiang May property for sale during the seven days ending Sunday, October 18, on Thailand-Property.com, was a renovated studio condominium priced at THB 650,000.
The room, which is listed for a sale as an investment is near to Chiang Mai train station and the super highway. The modern, light and airy studio is located on the 5th floor of PP Condominium, and is offered with new furniture including a comfortable sofa, table and chairs, desk with chair, a Queen-sized bed and a modern kitchen equipped with fridge/freezer, hob and microwave, as well as a flat screen television and one air conditioning unit.
The second most-viewed Chiang Mai property for sale last week (below) was a house in the Hang Dong area of the city with a price listed at THB 3.88 million.
The house offers a large spacious living room, both dry and wet kitchens with designer cabinets, a family entertainment room for relaxation and quality time. There is also a sky garden with a rooftop recreation area for relaxation, parties and barbecues. There are four bedrooms/bathrooms for individual space and privacy, including a spacious master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The three-storey villas has 166 sqm of space.
The third most-viewed listing for property for sale in Chiang Mai on Thailand-Property last week (pictured below) was another studio condominium in Muang, Chiang Mai, for THB 1.32 million.
