What is set to be the most luxurious workplace in Bangkok is set to open later this year.
Fico Corporation has invested more than THB 1.3 billion in Metropolis (pictured), a 21-storey building adjacent to Sukhumvit Soi 39 in Bangkok that is now more than 70 percent complete.
The building will offer 26,000 sqm of office space, and it has already been shortlisted in the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2015 in the Office Architecture category.
Krit Srichawla, Chief Executive Officer of Fico Corporation, said: “The Metropolis has received interest from leading companies and retailers in Thailand and overseas, who have already visited the project. It already has an occupancy rate of more than 35 percent after opening for reservations”.
The Metropolis is characterised by a unique combination of classic and modern architecture, making it totally different to other office buildings. The lower building architecture is inspired by traditional European buildings, while the façade with its copper brown cladding and diamond cut design, reflects light in various directions. The building will also have different colours at different times of day.
The building will also feature two floors of retail space.
The developer said that Metropolis is designed to be the most luxurious building in Bangkok, focusing on its exceptional design and exclusiveness that will, in turn, enhance the corporate image and status of its tenants.
