After a relatively quiet first quarter, property developers are re-venturing into Bangkok’s low to mid-range property market. This week, several developers unveiled new residential projects in the outskirts of the city.

First, listed developer Pruksa Real Estate Plc announced the launch of The Plant Srinakarin-Nam Daeng and Pruksa Town Next Loft Bang Na KM 5. The latter is a townhouse project of 239 units; prices start at THB 2.09 million per unit.

Another listed developer, Krungthep Land Plc, introduced Tyme Rama 5, a townhouse development with 158 units on 17 rai. Starting at THB 2.99 million, each 130-square metre townhouse embodies a refined, contemporary style with four bedrooms. In addition to this concept, the project will attract buyer interest with a location near the new purple line mass transit route at Tiwanon station, which is expected to be complete in 2015.

Meanwhile, Euro-Thai Property Holding Co., Ltd. presented its latest condominium project, Manhattan Park Peninsula, on Sukhumvit Soi 107. The eight-story building will feature 216 units, with the largest unit boasting 38.85 square metres of space. Prices start at THB 1.39 million for a 1-bedroom unit of 23 square metres.
