The Asoke property market has a great deal of potential and remains an area investors should keep an eye on. That was the sentiment of Surachet Kongcheep, local real estate expert and Managing Director of Phoenix Property Development and Consultancy, who also noted that land prices continue to increase around Asoke.
“The zone around Asok BTS station is one of the highest-potential areas in Bangkok for property development. In addition to being an interchange for the subway and skytrain lines, it’s home to Terminal 21, a well-known shopping mall,” Surachet told the Bangkok Post.
He continued, “Furthermore, some large-scale mixed-use projects, such as the renovation of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and The Parq project at the corner of Ratchadaphisek and Rama IV roads, will have an influence on the nearby Asoke area’s evolution.”
All of this has been the catalyst behind Asoke’s soaring land prices, which have grown by 15 percent annually. According to Surachet, the Asoke property market currently has 6,928 condominium units with nearly 90 percent of these having been sold. This bodes well for the future.
“All new condominium projects in the area can expect a high level of interest from potential buyers, due to the desirable location, numerous transport options and the intangibles that set Asoke apart from other locations,” Surachet stated.
