Specifically, AP designers have adapted the concept of Engawa (“inside out, outside in”), seamlessly connecting interior and exterior spaces to give residents a feeling of being close to nature. They have also drawn inspiration from Kohji and Shoji (“grid and line”) incorporating repetitive patterns and clean lines in design work.
The results include the “Sky Kitchen”, which places the kitchen by a large picture window to provide city views, and the “Double Access Bathroom” that can be accessed from the bedroom and living room and features a sliding door between the toilet and shower.
Worth a combined THB 7.13 billion, the high-rise projects sporting such innovations are Rhythm Asoke II, Rhythm Sukhumvit 36-38 and Aspire Ratchada-Wongsawang. So far, the new design innovations have been well received by buyers.
