The Sukhumvit area of central Bangkok retained its position as the most-searched location in Thailand’s capital city for properties to rent for the third-consecutive week on Thailand’s number one English language property portal.
Data from www.thailand-property.com for the week ending Monday, December 21, showed Sukhumvit had retained its crown as the most-searched location for rental property in Bangkok.
On Nut, which was ranked second at the start of the month and then disappeared from the top five list last week, returned to occupy the second most-searched location in Bangkok for rental property last week.
Bang Na jumped one position to third last week from its fourth place during the last two weeks, while Sathorn returned to the chart in fourth place last week. Ladprao made its first appearance as the fifth most-searched location for rental properties in Bangkok.
This data from Thailand-Property.com, part of the Dot Property Group, provides consumers, developers and real estate agents with accurate and timely data about where users are searching from properties to rent on Thailand’s number one real estate website.
The appearance of On Nut, Bang Na and, to a certain extent, Ladprao, indicated that lower-priced rental units were in demand last week, although Sukhumvit’s top spot for a third week showed there is still demand for higher-priced, and arguably newer rental units, that are well-connected to the rest of the city via the mass-transit systems.
