What is believed to be one of the first Bangkok property exhibitions to feature a Malaysian residential property development will take place in the Thai capital early next month.
The 412-unit freehold Novo Ampang project (pictured) in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur will be in the exhibition spotlight on Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel in central Bangkok, in an event that will also feature seminars about investing in the ASEAN Economic Community and a round-up of the real estate market in Kuala Lumpur.
So why has Capital One Real Estate, the sole real estate agency in Thailand for this project, chosen to exhibit the development in Thailand now?
Vit Kultanavipas, Chief Executive Officer, told Dot Property Group: “It’s because the price per sqm in Kuala Lumpur is good for investment now. It is slightly lower than in Bangkok. This project is equal to about THB 135,000 per sqm but the location is in a prime area of the Malaysian capital.
“Thai people can invest in overseas property to receive a return, and it is more secure than investing in U.K. student property accommodation.”
The rental guarantee on offer with this project is 6 percent per annum for the first three years, and 6.5 percent for years four, five and six. The investor can choose to renew his or her options after that.
Prices per unit will start from THB 8.5 million.
