3 cheap Thailand condos for sale

The perception that Thailand is an expensive place to buy property is, in many cases, wrong. One look at listings for property for sale on www.thailand-property.com is evidence alone to disprove that theory.

In this story we have highlighted three properties for sale now at prices well under THB 700,000. Of course buyers and investors will get less and have to put up with fewer creature comforts than if they were buying a new property, but this proves there are cheap alternatives out there if you just need a place in the Land of Smiles.

First (below), and the cheapest of the three properties we have chosen to feature, is an unfurnished studio room located in the PP Condominium off Charoen Muang Road in the northern city of Chiang Mai. The asking price – just THB 380,000. The 30 sqm studio does not require complete renovation, however a little bit of love will make this an ideal base in Chiang Mai, or possibly an opportunity for investment potential due to its location near to the train station, super highway and five minutes from the centre of town.

If you budget can stretch a little further to THB 550,000 then this 4th floor, 30.85 sqm unit in north Bangkok (below) with one bedroom and one bathroom can be yours. The condominium unit is located close to Ministry of Public Health and King Mongkut’s University of Technology, making it a possible option for investors looking for a ready-made rental market.

For THB 640,000 a 31 sqm unit, again with one bedroom and one bathroom, can be yours, This one (below) is located closer to Bangkok in the Don Mueng area, with the international airport and shopping centres close by.
